Marko Mrdja was born in 1996.
He started playing the piano at the age of seven. He studied composition with a focus on electronic music at HMDK Stuttgart with Professor Marco Stroppa until July 2020. At the same time, he joined the Zyriab World Music Academy to expand his knowledge of improvisation in various musical genres with the well-known Georgian musician Zaza Miminoshvili. In search of his own form of expression, he studied music from the Balkans, as well as Indian classical music with Indian bansuri master Dinesh Mishra. Marko performs nationwide in a variety of genres, including contemporary music in piano solo as well as duo and trio constellations. He also regularly performs live electronic music under the artist names TAMA for the newly founded label Predawn Records.
